In order to get a better idea of what the terminology around advertising means we have listed the most common terms here. Leaderboards - The most visible form of advertising are the banners which appear at the top of all the pages served from the DoodleBips site. Skyscrapers are placed on the right-hand side of a page and are as effective as leaderboards, Rectangles and Buttons are also placed on the right-hand side of the page but are 1/3 the size, and cost, of a skyscraper and will typically be shown in a group of three in combination with other rectangles. Trailers are just like leaderboards but appear at the bottom of a page, because they are less prominent than leaderboards they are less expensive. All adverts are served automatically and advertisers purchase a number of 'page views' per month.
